We're working with a global multidisciplinary design consultancy that's expanding its Water Infrastructure presence in NSW. They're looking for a technically strong, delivery-focused leader with deep expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on complex, high-value projects, help grow and shape a local team, and play a strategic role in the continued success and growth of their national water business.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design and delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
• Provide high-level technical oversight, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with Sydney Water standards
• Support business development activities and build strong, lasting relationships with key clients, including Sydney Water and local councils
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow the NSW water capability
• Contribute to strategic planning, resourcing, and team development

What We're Looking For:

• A technically strong Civil, Structural, Water or Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in design consultancy
• Proven experience working on Sydney Water frameworks or projects is highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of local infrastructure standards, codes, and approval processes
• Chartered Engineer (CPEng, RPEQ)
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
• Passion for delivering high-quality engineering outcomes within collaborative teams
