Join a reputable, Australian consultancy based in Sutherland working as a Structural Design Engineer to help deliver a range of medium rise Buildings Projects this role requires someone who can:
- Start ASAP - 9 week initial contract
- Is confident and experienced in the Australian Building Structural Market
- Has strong communication
- Be confident to come in and hit the ground running
- Has a full driving license and happy to attend site inspections as well as work on design as required.
You will have the opportunity to join a busy, and established team, helping them through a busy period with potential for contract extension or even permanent employment in the business in the near future.
Some of your key duties will include;
- Undertaking Inspections of structural elements during construction e.g. reinforcement for concrete structures (footings, slabs, walls), and steel and timber framing, bracing, tie-down.
- Working in the design team to meet upcoming project deadlines
- You will have have an excellent understanding of both construction processes and structural design, and adhere rigorously to nominated QA & OHS processes.
