The Opportunity
 
We're working with a global engineering consultancy who are now looking for a mid-level Structural Engineer to join their growing Newcastle team.
You'll be joining a business that has a strong foothold in the market, a reputation for technical excellence, and an outstanding culture, with approachable leaders and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
 
This is an ideal opportunity if you have 3-5 years' experience in structural engineering and are looking for that next step, with more technical responsibility, bigger projects, and clear growth opportunities.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Working alongside Senior Engineers on the structural design and delivery of buildings across a wide range of sectors
• Taking ownership of design packages, calculations, modelling, and documentation
• Collaborating closely with drafters and other engineers to ensure smooth project coordination
• Learning from experienced technical leaders who will support your development
• Using software like ETABS, RAM Concept, and RAPT daily, experience with these is essential
• Gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle, with opportunity to step into more responsibility as you grow

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering (preferably within buildings)
• Proficiency in design software including ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT
• A collaborative mindset and great communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
