What You Will Be Doing: - On-Site Inspections: Undertake critical structural inspections during construction (including reinforcement for concrete footings, slabs, walls, as well as steel/timber framing, bracing, and tie-downs).
- Technical Liaison: Respond directly to contractor site queries, providing a seamless communication line between the field and the design office.
- Quality & Safety: Rigorously uphold and enforce nominated QA and OHS processes to ensure structural integrity.
What You Bring: - Around 4–8 years of solid on-site structural engineering experience.
- A sharp, dual understanding of both construction processes and structural design principles.
- Strong communication skills to manage contractor relationships firmly and professionally.
