The Opportunity We're working with a global engineering consultancy who are now looking for a
Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing Newcastle team.

This is an ideal opportunity if you are either working as a Senior Engineer or looking to step up to Senior now and have
demonstratable experience to a senior level in structural engineering (Chartership prefered) and are looking for that next step, with more technical responsibility, bigger projects, and clear growth opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing - Working alongside Principal Engineers on the structural design and delivery of buildings across a wide range of sectors
- Taking ownership of design packages, calculations, modelling, and documentation
- Collaborating closely with drafters and other engineers to ensure smooth project coordination
- Learning from experienced technical leaders who will support your ongoing development
What You'll Bring - Demonstratable experience to a Senior level in structural engineering design
- Experienced in either mid to highrise design or liquid retaining structures (and a solid understanding of AS3735 for the latter)
- Proficiency in design software which will include some of the following: ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT, STRAND 7,
- A collaborative mindset and great communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
