The role & requirementsWorking closely alongside their expanding structural engineering team, in this role, your main focus will be across structural engineering across a wide variety of projects including; education, healthcare & hospitals, and aged care, as well as commercial towers and high-rise buildings.
- Working closely alongside their structural engineering team, In this role, your main focus will be across structural engineering in the institutional sector, comprising projects in education, healthcare & hospitals and aged care, as well as commercial and high-rise residential. Minimum of 5 years’ of design/drafting experience.
- High proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit;
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to scope the work, gather data, analyse and formulate an opinion and develop a solution or design
- An underlying knowledge of structures and construction
- Experience in a broad range of project types
- The ability to produce drawings in steel & concrete using REVIT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to engage and collaborate with external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate and engage with other internal drafting team members
- Ability to meet deadlines
