Due to recent project wins and a strong pipeline of work client - an established Australian Consultancy - are looking for a Flood Engineer (Ideally 4+ years of local experience) to join their Sydney team.
As a Civil/Flood Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of large public and private sector projects. This position offers exposure to a number of landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 4 years + of experience. Previous exposure to major building developments in a multi-disciplinary team is a must. Expertise in flood analysis, water quality solutions, retention, and external service coordination would be favourable.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years of design experience in civil/flood engineering
- An Australian tertiary engineering qualification or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with a range of software's, ideally but not exclusively DRAINS, TUFLOW, Music, 12D, RAFTS, Map info and Navisworks
- Good written and verbal communication
- A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for significant state developments
- The ability to manage multiple project
