Senior Civil / Structural Drafter | Drafting Lead

We're working with a fantastic, well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy in Wollongong that's looking for an experienced Civil / Structural Drafter to join its team.
 
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with drafting but would also love the chance to take ownership of drafting standards, improve systems and processes, and help mentor other team members.
The business has a fantastic reputation, a genuinely lovely team and a strong pipeline of work, offering excellent long-term security. You'll get involved in a really varied mix of projects, from residential and commercial developments through to bridges, roads, public infrastructure and coastal projects.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you'll have experience across both civil and structural drafting, although candidates with a strong background in either discipline will be considered.

You'll also bring:

• Strong AutoCAD drafting experience.
• Revit experience, ideally including the ability to create and manage families.
• An understanding of civil and structural engineering documentation.
• Experience developing or improving drafting standards and workflows.
• The ability to mentor, support and guide other drafters.
• A proactive attitude and genuine interest in improving how things are done.
