The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead a small civil team and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, support and develop junior engineers and contribute to the growth and direction of the civil team.

This role would suit someone who is technically strong, enjoys working with people and is ready to take on greater responsibility.
 
What you'll be doing

• Lead and mentor a small team of civil engineers
• Manage and deliver civil engineering projects
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team
• Take ownership of project delivery, quality and client outcomes
• Work closely with the Directors on team and business growth
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Help develop and grow the civil engineering capability within the business

What we're looking for

• Degree qualified Civil Engineer
• Strong experience in civil engineering design and project delivery
• Previous experience as a Senior Civil Engineer
• Strong technical capability and a practical approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A genuine interest in developing people and stepping into leadership
• The confidence to take ownership and work independently
• Experience in subdivision and/or land development would be advantageous
• 12D and DRAINS experience would be highly regarded
