Engineering Design Manager – Lead & Inspire a Top Civil Engineering Team
Are you a civil engineering leader ready to take the next step in your career? I’m recruiting an Engineering Design Manager to lead a talented design team, manage project delivery, and drive excellence across a portfolio of land development projects.
What you’ll do: - Lead and support the design team, managing resources, deadlines, and client expectations
- Oversee project budgeting, invoicing, and reporting
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities
- Drive innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement across the team
- Mentor and develop engineers, encouraging professional growth
- Contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team
What we’re looking for: - Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with RPEQ accreditation
- 8+ years’ civil engineering design experience, ideally in land development
- Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
- Advanced skills in 12D/Civil 3D, DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD
- Strong hydraulic/hydrological knowledge and compliance with Australian standards and LGA road and drainage design principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
