A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Civil Designer to join a growing, Australian-owned consultancy renowned for delivering
high-quality civil design and documentation for complex building and urban development projects.
With expanding civil teams in
Sydney and Brisbane, this role offers the flexibility to be based in either location, working on some of
Australia’s most significant and high-profile projects.
The Opportunity You’ll be involved in the
design and coordination of civil works for major building and infrastructure projects, ranging from high-rise towers and mixed-use precincts to hospitals and commercial developments. This is a
technically focused role for a designer who takes pride in precision, quality, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil designs for building-related projects using 12d or Civil 3D.
- Design siteworks, earthworks, grading, stormwater drainage, and external pavements.
- Coordinate design interfaces with architectural, structural, and services teams.
- Support engineers in preparing concept, detailed, and construction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design tools and team processes.
Skills and Experience
- Qualification in Civil Engineering or Civil Design.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in civil design, ideally within the built environment or urban development sectors.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 12d or Civil 3D.
- Strong technical knowledge of grading, drainage, and external works design.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation.
